Paint the Rock
A Creative Way to Celebrate
The Rock is a special tradition at Imago Dei Academy that gives families and community members a simple, creative way to celebrate meaningful moments. Located at the entrance of our parking lot and visible to all who travel east on Scenic, the Rock offers a joyful, public way to mark birthdays, achievements, and special occasions within the life of our school community.
What Is the Rock?
The Rock is a designated space on campus that may be reserved for painting on approved dates. Reservations allow individuals or families to decorate the Rock for one day as a way to celebrate or recognize a moment in a school-appropriate and respectful manner.
How It Works

Bring your own paint and supplies
Paint the Rock during the approved time window
- Enjoy your design until the next scheduled reservation
Guidelines & Cost
- The Rock may be reserved for $20 per day
Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis
- Painting may begin no earlier than 4:00 PM on the day prior to the reserved date
All designs should be appropriate for a school environment and reflect the values of the Imago Dei Academy community.
